Cooking Post
It is with great pride that I admit dragonmama to the priviledged group of people that I call from my kitchen with panicked questions. Tonights was "can pregnant women eat mushrooms". In the past my sister ("can pregnant women eat X" and "is X vegetarian?"), my mother ("how long do you roast X" and "what's the recipe for X"), and even my mother-in-law (also "how long do you roast X") have been the only members of this group, so dragonmama is the first non-family member to be subjected to it.
I'm not quite sure what I'll do when I'm in Australia and I can't just phone up and ask. Perhaps I'll actually have to learn things. Given my culinary skills, that is a terrifying proposition. Anyway, thankyou to all the above!
To be quite honest, I don't know what we're going to do when you go to Australia either. :-(

Actually, so many people have surprised me by being, well, not upset as such, just visible in their plans to miss us, that I'm amazed how many people care about us.
Just think of it as an excuse to visit australia ;-)

Visiting Australia's not so easy on one salary with two small children, restricted to school holiday travel times :-(
