What? How can you trademark red? Does that mean that my watch owed HMPO money?

No, your watch is crimson.

You can trademark exact shades of colours. I don't know to what extent you have to avoid existing or known colours, and how close someone can get without infringement - probably no-one knows this, in order to keep more lawyers in business.
Probably you owe them money, not your watch ;-)
