I hate having a cold!

I finally got around to buying a new camera to replace the borked, stuck-on-sunset, Minolta Z2. I searched the internet, read reviews, did the research. Then I snapped. I went to a good camera shop and asked their advice. They gave me two options - a Panasonic with 10x optical zoom, but still pretty small, and another one, which I now forget, that had 5x zoom and was smaller. I also looked at an Olympus, the FE 200 or 240. I went away and got confused again. When I went back into the shop yesterday I realised that I would miss the 10x zoom I'd had, and didn't want to give it up. So I'm now the proud owner of a shiny new camera! And at some point, you'll get to see some of the photos from it. When I find some interesting ones to take!

Also this weekend I've bought a pair of hair straighteners (the new hair cut demanded them!) and some foundation. Having not bought any foundation since I bought the tinted moisturiser from Boots about 7 years ago, I was a bit confused. I wandered over to a nice looking lady, had a chat and a demonstration, bought some, and then checked the reciept. $96. Phew! Apparantly Chanel is pretty expensive. Who knew!

I'm jealous - I've been looking at those new little Panasonics and can't justify one when the old, but bigger, one works perfectly well!

So... have you still got a cold, Krusty?
