July 13, 2003

So it's the morning after the night before. Okay, it's the afternoon after the night before. Everybody's gone and I'm on my own in the house. I guess what's bothering me is that more than being on the house on my own is being here with nothing to do. Not that I don't have many things I could do. Last time Pete was away I spent the weekend polyfilla-ing a wall and generally fixing the kitchen. Now the house is tidy I'm not sure which of my things-to-do I should actually do. I don't seem to be very good at being a lady of leisure. Maybe this is why I don't play the lotto.
