For those enquiring minds that need to know, the status of the kitchen is that The Wall is smoothed and painted, all door fronts are on, wine is in the wine rack, one shelf is up, sealing is done (but not ceiling) and last night I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor. It doesn't look a lot better, but at least I know I tried!
