April 08, 2002

A while ago I signed up for the peer to peer review and the other day I got my blog to review through. I have been. I have seen. And now, for your delight and delectation, I will review. I have to. It's in my contract!

Joe Szilagyi Don't Dance is a blog after my own heart (if that makes sense). There's something for everyone - links, stuff happening, computer winges and all the stuff you expect from someone writing their thoughts down. I even followed a couple of the links (and anyone who knows me will know I don't do that very often, as I mostly don't have time). I particularly like that fact that the title had been changed to The Blog of Sex, Dragon Ball Z, Spider-Man, Britney Spears, Internal Revenue Service, and More Sex! to see how many hits were possible from that!

Technically, whoever writes this is so far ahead of me in programming ability that I need some binoculars to see them. It looks good, but I don't feel qualified at all to comment on it further than that. There's a membership system which I signed up for. Annoyingly I had to be logged on to my email to pick up the password (annoying for me due to my personal computing circumstances… probably not for anyone else in the entire world), which I still haven't managed to pick up. I believe it lets you personalise what you see, and various other bits. All in all, very clever, but I'm not sure I need it!

So overall, it looks good, has lots of gadgety geeky bits, and reads well. If you like a bit of insight into someones life with a few good links and a bit of sarcasm thrown in, then you'll enjoy it. If you're looking for an angst-ridden read going deep into the depths of someone's psyche, this ain't it. But for me, that can only be a good thing!
