The concert went fine. However, I don't know if I'll be going back to the orchestra after this friday. They brought in a load of professionals to lead the sections (which I thought was rude and impolite to those who'd put the hard work in over the past months leading the sections already) and to sit at the back to bulk up the noise (which I thought was a fake way of doing things - be happy with what you've got, and work to make it better, don't cheat). So I was annoyed on Saturday night, and I would like to think that I have enough principals to tell the conductor why I'm leaving. However, if they're playing something I really want to play, I might stay a bit longer!
