April 03, 2002

I'm back, the sun is shining, and I have a stinking cold. Plus, due to the M23 being stacked and stationary last night, we didn't make our first house viewing appointment, and only just made the second. All in all, I wish it was still Easter. Looking on the bright side, I've got a whacking great payrise, which compensates for my reduction in site allowance for changing jobs, so it's all good overall!

I started my new job yesterday, on a part time basis, whilst I finish off the hell hole that is Andover. It's pretty good, and the offices are right by the Thames at Hampton. Literally. If you run too fast out of the door at the end of the day, you'll get wet. So I'm looking forward to the summer, and I'm looking forward to my computer arriving. Meanwhile, I got back to Andover today to discover that they've taken away my fridge and microwave (boo, hiss!) and that I had 91 new emails, of which only 23 were work related. There was even a comment, so to clear my inbox, here goes:
Just saying hi! Not sure how this works :-) Listener
I don't know how it works either, but it definitely does. Hi, and it's good to see you!
