August 06, 2002

Well, we moved. We have a new house. The living room is yellow and blue (thanks to B&Q). The pavement was nearly yellow (also thanks to B&Q). The pavement is now clean in parts, and at some point may be entirely clean. That's the problem with scrubbing one patch of it - it really shows up how mucky the rest of it is. Other than that, and a few boxes, and a bit of unpacking, we're in. Possibly the most exciting find of the weekend was the sword in the loft. A proper, pukka, sharp, pointy, metal sword with a proper, pukka, not sharp and pointy leather scabbard.

Now all we have to look forward to is 4 days in Prague. Prague is my favourite city. I had a fantastic time there two new years ago, and I'm looking forward to seeing it in summer. For free. Thanks to the Guardian. See you next week!
