What a weekend. Besides the epic dress shopping in Coventry (unsuccessfully I might add) and a cracking night at Warwick Castle for Pete and Emma there was the excitement of Coombe Abbey grounds and park with an eight year old. Who didn't want to leave. Well as they say, every day's a school day, and I felt educated in the art of parenthood. The whole bank holiday was rounded off nicely by dinner with a couple of old Aylesbury-tonians and far too much snooker on the TV.
