I think I'm just about coping with yesterday and the immediate shock. However, this seems to mean that my brain is now working, and I'm starting to get really concerned. Bush declares that this is an act of war on America. Okay, I can understand that. He will hunt down those responsible and bring them to justice. Again, I can understand that. Nato declares support for America. Under the circumstances, I understand that too. So where's the problem? I suspect that the American nation will (and I think, in the same circumstances, the British 'mob' mentality would too) call for direct action. I suspect President Bush will agree. And I worry about where that will lead.
